Seven fighters from Watford, travelled to Swindon, to compete on Jason Ogrady’s, fight night (Valentines Massacre) which proved to be an eventful night with all seven fighters being victorious on the night with outstanding displays in kickboxing and sport karate.
George Fitzgerald, was up first for Watford, against Luke Freshwater, from Windrush, George winning in fine style with his lightning Bolt Blitz.
Max Chapman-Tripe, beating Aiden Clarridge, in a well matched fight.
Jake McCarthy, won against James Druce, another fighter from London Warriors.
Patrick Hogan, gave a great display defeating Steve Wilkinson, from Windrush.
Matt Wilkinson, came out with all guns blazing to seal the deal against Francis Lopatta, From Phraya Pichai Gym.
Warren Pearson-Smith, was on top form with his impressive head movement and counter attacking to win over Mike Kelly.
Last up for Watford was the Romanian Devil, Peter Bocancea, in a very close fight against Matt Crate, from Dorking Freestyle We believe Pete won the judges over when he landed about six to eight unanswered punches towards the end of the final round.
We would like to thank all those that came to support the Watford team.
Well done to Jason and his wife, on their first show, the fights were very well matched and the show ran very smooth.
