First up from Watford, was Aaron Keiley O’Leary, against Max Bond. Aaron fought to the bitter end of there two rounder but Max proved to be a little to much for our Watford lad and got the win over Aaron.
Next up was Brandon Long, Brandon was up against Brandon Cook, from Steve Cook’s Pegasus gym. Both fighters where evenly matched but Brandon Cook, landed a few good body shots on Brandon Long, which knocked our Brandon, out of his rhythm, giving young Mr Cook the victory.
Matthew Clark, representing Team Renegade was up against Ross Mcduff, from Chris Hoyles, yet again it was another well matched fight buy Handle Cain, Matthew, was giving away about 7kg which Ross, used to his advantage to be victorious at the end of the three rounds.
Alex Bocancea, in his second contest was against Luke Bell, from Handle’s Cain Do kickboxing school, Alex’s lost his first fight which was about four weeks ago
Learnt from his mistakes from his first fight, put it right this time using his jab to full effect to get his first win.
Patrick Hogan, another Team Renegade member was in a very tough fight against Ian Mc Duff, from Chris Hoyles, the fight was shaping up for a real crowd pleaser until Ian, picked up an injury to his jaw which forced him to pull out leaving Patrick, the victor.
Peter Bocancea, Alex’s, older brother was against Dan McKeon, also from Chris Hoyles, both fighter landed some very strong punches but with Peter’s precision and him listening for once saw him with his hand raised at the end of his bought with a unanimous decision.
The fight of the day for me was between Watford’s Mark Williams against London Warriors Rodney James, this fight was hard, fast and cunning; both fighters had the greatest of respect for each other with Mark, being the winner.
Jamie Jordan, was against Ross McDuff, in a semi contact fight, Ross showed he had a little bit more experience on Jamie, but Jamie refused to be denied but had to settle for runner up.
Patrick, in his second fight for the day was in a semi contact bout against Jordan Peterson, from Chris Hoyles, its really nice to see your fighters using techniques taught to them during there lesson, which is what Patrick did to win.
The day was enjoyed by all, well done Mr Cain, for a enjoyable day.
I would like to thank the Watford, people that stayed behind to support the rest of our guys that fought at the end of the show and a big thanks to the parents for taking time out to bring your Children. Well done all
